Big question, what thickness metal to weld up a small box stove that will also be able to hold a frying pan on top as a camping cook stove? Will be using the barrel stove kit door and possibly fire brick on the bottom of the stove. My welders can do 3/16" steel, 1/4" will be a big stretch.
Yes, wilk stand on legs. Will not be living in the cabin shed permanently, will build a permanent structure as soon as finances permit. And will have non-combustible wall coverings in the area of the wood stove and beneath it, pkus double walled pipe alk the way out the wall and up to a safe chimney height.
